Class Experience
In this 1-day Spring Break Science Course, students will be learning about density and why it is important to understand. Students will learn about density and the science behind it through a combination of lecture, class discussion, google slide show, video clips, and other visuals. We will then apply what we learn to creating our own density tower. Once we've created the tower, we will compare each substance and discuss it's properties so we can draw conclusions about why it is more or less...
Students will be able to explain the property of density. Students will be able to compare the density of different substances. Students will design and conduct a lab investigation. Students will learn how to draw a conclusion based on their data and observations.
