Spring Art Made Easy : How to Paint a Honey Bee Using Watercolor

In this one time spring themed watercolor class, we will learn how to use watercolor techniques to paint, play interactive games, maintain educational discussions and learn fun scientific facts about the honey bee.

Description

Class Experience

Students will learn how to draw a honey bee using basic shapes and simple lines
Students will learn how to paint using watercolor and various watercolor techniques 
Students will learn fun scientific facts about honey bees
I am a certified art education teacher and English teacher that has been teaching since 2014. I specialize in integrating general subject matter into the curriculum in an attempt to cover multiple common core and general subject matter state standards.

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
We will be using an interactive trivia game to assess the newly found knowledge we have learned about the honey bee. 
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
We will be using YouTube via screen share to help expand our students' knowledge of the honey bee.  There will be no need to set up any accounts in order to participate in this course.
