In this 6 lesson course, we will create spring themed art! Each lesson will feature a video demonstrating a guided art. These videos will show students step by step how to create the artwork. Students can personalize their background and make creative choices. I will show students several examples to help with the brainstorming process! No prior knowledge is needed. Students will get to use a variety of art materials for this course such as markers, colored pencils, watercolor and clay. I have taught high school art for 18 years! Last year I had the opportunity to teach middle school students remotely and loved it! I have taught a variety of courses over my career such as: Fine Arts 1 & 2, Introduction to Photography, Pottery 1 & 2, Introduction to Jewelry, Introduction to Crafts, Introduction to Sculpture, Design 1 & 2.
I believe creating art is a process. It takes making a mess, mistakes and trying again! Creating art is a method of communication with the world!
When I'm not creating art, I love cooking, reading, spending time with friends & family!
