Class Experience
During this class, students will be presented with four logic puzzles to solve. The first puzzle will be guided by the teacher to show how to use a logic grid to eliminate and narrow down possible answers. Students will then attempt to solve the remaining problems in an allotted time frame. The teacher will coach and encourage and help facilitate learner's thinking. The group will share solutions and agree upon the final answers. Students will also have an opportunity to write their own...
Students will think critically to find solutions to logic puzzles. Students will use a logic grid to eliminate choices. Students will check and correct their solutions.
Throughout my twenty-five years of teaching, I have helped preschool through fifth grade learners actively engage and love the process of learning. Students enjoy finding the answers to logic puzzles and are proud of this new skill.
Students may choose to write another logic puzzle to share with their family.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students will be assessed informally based on their active participation and attempts to solve logic puzzles.
