Class experience

This class is taught in English.
Students will practice the skills of following a recipe, sequencing, requesting help as needed, and fine motor skills of stirring and pouring ingredients.
I have used fun and engaging recipes to teach elementary students important skills like following directions, sequencing, and requesting help in the classroom environment.
Ingredients:
1 bag microwave popcorn (regular size, can be with butter or not)
8 oz semisweet chocolate candy melts or baking bar (semi-sweet works best)
6-8 oz white chocolate candy melts or baking bar
Orange/black sprinkles
Halloween M&M’s (can be peanut or regular, does not have to be Halloween colored)

Equipment:
Microwave
Large bowl
2 microwave safe bowls
2 spoons
Silicone spatula (optional)
Baking sheet
Parchment paper or wax paper (optional)
Paper towels
Oven mitt or pot holder
Some parental guidance may be needed to help operate the microwave and/or take dishes out of the microwave.
