Amanda Gatton is a life long lover of all things Halloween. It is Halloween every day in my world. I am the perfect person to bring the creep to your learner who loves ghost stories. As a professional artist and author, and a teacher with a dark and creepy heart, I can bring the magic of spooky stories to your learners in a way they’ll never forget.
If learners would like to draw during the read aloud, please have them bring paper, and whatever drawing/coloring supplies they care to use.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Learner is assessed through teacher and peer feedback
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
There will be spooky stories consistently shared that are appropriate for the “middle grade” reading segment, or 8-12 year olds. If your child DOES NOT LIKE spooky things, please refrain from joining this club. Ex. Of books that might be shared: Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, Goosebumps, Harry Potter.
