Students will have to use their best detective skills to decipher Halloween themed clues and find corresponding objects in their home.

Students do not need any prior knowledge of Halloween themes, although it will likely benefit their understanding of certain clues. We will begin class by introducing ourselves and share what we are being for Halloween. Then I will read each spooky themed clue before students run to find an object that matches, and bring it back to the camera. Deciphering clues helps with listening skills and critical application, and finding objects allows for creative thinking and some fun exercise to beat the clock!

Teacher expertise and credentials
For as long as I can remember I have been passionate about learning. This has led me to pursue a number of educational routes, and also drives my teaching philosophy — that knowledge is power, everyone has a different style of learning, and most of all, it should be FUN!
I have my masters in psychology, which is the base of most of my classes, but I also have experience in the sciences through my undergrad, as well as EMT and phlebotomy certifications.
Due to my varying degrees and experiences, I also enjoy teaching some animal, science and art based courses!
Since I love learning and exploring so much, I have been fortunate enough to try out some unique paths — including working with sea lions at the New England Aquarium, with celebrities in Los Angeles, and traveling to 25 countries and 40 US states.
As far as my teaching history, I have taught ESL to Burmese refugees, been a camp counselor, led tours and integrated aspects of corporate companies through team building exercises, homeschooled my own daughter for several years, and am a multi-level Girl Scout leader.
I can’t wait to learn together in a student focused classroom!
