Spooky Math Camp: Halloween-Themed Math Lessons for 4-6 Grades

Let’s do some spooky activities while we practice math! In this one week class, students will participate in some fun Halloween-themed math lessons. We will make glow-in-the dark slime, create scary symmetrical art and more!

Class Experience

Students will practice:
-Identifying 2D shapes
-Creating symmetrical artwork
-Identifying lines of symmetry
-Multiplication and division
-Adding and subtracting multi digit numbers
-Identifying prime/composite numbers
-Ordering numbers 
-Identifying coordinates on a coordinate plane
Teacher will send the content worksheets after enrollment.
Students will need additional materials for day 2:
- At least 8 ounces of Glow-in-the-dark glue
-Baking soda
-Contact solution
-Food coloring (your favorite color)
-Glitter (optional)
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Informative assessments will be given during the lessons to guide my instruction and make adjustment to the lesson as needed.
