Whose ready for some Halloween fun! Join me for a spooky Monster Directed Drawing! During this multi-day class, students will meet 2 times. This art project is purposely designed to be simple so that even our youngest learners can feel confident and excited about their work. Students will be introduced to beginner art terms. Students will also participate in fun Halloween themed Would You Rather games while we draw. For example “Would you rather fly on the back of a bat or on a witch's broom?” “Would you rather dress up as a mummy or a pirate?” Parents are welcome to place the completed art project in a black frame and hang it up with the Halloween decorations! Day 1 Draw monster Color in some parts of the monster with markers Day 2 Paint background with watercolors Paint some parts of the monster with watercolors! Show off our work! (if time permits and artwork is dry) **An adult should be nearby on day 2 to help with using the water color paints if the child has no experience with water color paints. Please be careful with placing the cup of water near electronics if an adult is not nearby to monitor. **Due to the nature of fine motor activities, not all students may be able to finish their artwork in the allotted time. Students will be informed that they can also complete their artwork after class. Parents are welcome to take a picture of the finished product and upload it to the classroom. I would love to see everyone's completed projects!
