A one-time class to learn some halloween lettering and drawing.
Class Experience
We will learn some "spooky" lettering and kawaii-style drawing to make a very cute Halloween drawing. We will draw in real time and learn the steps for drawing letters and characters. Drawing skills that we will practice include: pencil sketching, sighting/measuring, ink outlining, and applying color. During drawing time we will also encourage discussion among peers to share favorite Halloween costumes and past-times. This is a fun art class that will allow for relaxing, and chatting,...
Students will improve drawing skills such as proportion, sketching, learning some typographic terminology, finalizing shapes, and adding color. The characters we will draw include a cat, bat, and ghosts. Students will also practice conversation skills and enjoy a relaxing activity.
Students may need to finish their artwork outside of class. :)
Pencils, eraser, white paper, crayons or colored pencils, and a black pen (preferably gel-pen or fine-tip black marker).
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
