Class Experience

Get into the "spirit" (pun intended) of Halloween as we create fun and creepy crafts to decorate our rooms, homes, yards or wherever we'd like.
Each class will have a different art activity, where children will have a great opportunity to use their listening skills and follow directions in these teacher directed activities as we work on them together.

Please note that these activities may require parental guidance.

Crafts are as follows:
Week 1 Zombie Hand (materials include: masking tape, straw, scissors, glow stick or LED light)
Week 2 Front yard Tombstone (materials include: large cereal box, masking tape, scissors, 2 wooden skewers or dowels, grey and black craft paint, 2 paint brushes)
Week 3 Ghoulish Eyeballs (materials include: 2 green jack-o-lantern buckets from the dollar store or Walmart, white, red and black craft paint, masking tape, 3 paint brushes, and permanent marker)
Week 4 Ghostly Apparition (materials include: cheesecloth, white glue and water (or mod podge stiffy), bowl, 1 balloon, plastic spoons, water bottle or tall cup, duck tape or masking, tin foil)

Hello Everyone!

My name is Ms. Celeste and I've been a teacher for 20 years. I've spent most of that time with pre-k through second grade with time in the middle of those years as a Basic Skills Coordinator for third through fifth grades. I've also worked with college students in conjunction with the Basic Skills program as a facilitator to pair students with young college adults. I have a B.A from Rutgers University in New Jersey and I hold two teaching certificates, one for Preschool through Second Grade and the other is Kindergarten through Fifth Grade.

When I am not teaching, I like to engross myself in anything creative or "artsy", whether that is acting, photography, or painting.

I am so excited to make this switch from brick and mortar schools to teaching online with Outschool. I look forward to working with your children to provide them with fun and engaging activities and lessons.

See you soon!
Ms.Celeste
