Teacher expertise and credentials
Bachelor's Degree in English from Hanover College
Singing has always been an integral part of my life and in my classroom. I absolutely love to sing and to share that love with my students.
I have taught simple ASL signs for over 20 years in my brick-and-mortar Montessori classroom. For example, I've seen the children light-up when they can use an animal sign within a song or lesson or when they practice Grace and Courtesy using ASL signs with each other and with me.
Similarly, I have integrated basic Spanish words, colors, body parts, animals, weather, family connections and Grace and Courtesy, into my classroom for over 20 years.
