The class will begin with a short discussion about Jackson Pollock, why he is famous for his artwork and where you can see his paintings. Hi! I am currentIy a part-time Special education teacher at a middle-high school. Over 20 yearsI have taught children with a variety of ability levels, including preschoolers through High School Seniors. Right now I run workshops for beginner and advanced photographers in getting to know their cameras, and photoshop. I have also taught private art lessons for children starting with getting to know famous artists and designing a lesson around that particular style such as Jackson Pollack. I believe every child deserves the opportunity to learn at their comfort level and for the teacher to make it as accessible and fun as possible!
Large piece of paper, or canvas, optional sizes 8x10, 11x14 A larger paper or protective sheet to place underneath your spatter painting 3-5 paint colors of your choice 3 paint brushes 1 cup water paper towels optional: wet wipes, toothbrush, straw, eye dropper, fork, extra paper for additional paintings
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
