Splatoon 3 Club
Class experience
This social club offers kids a space to play the new 3rd person shooter game Splatoon 3 with other kids online. We'll still be using Zoom to chat and talk, and the chats will be closely monitored by myself and will emphasize sportsmanship and respect. If children wish to observe but not play, that is possible as well given that I can stream our battles over the Zoom call and others can watch. Each week will consist of students logging in to both Zoom and Splatoon 3, and playing against each...
Students will hone their Splatoon skills in intense, eight player team battles. They will learn the thrill of victory, the agony of defeat, teamwork, and how to show good sportsmanship throughout.
I have played every Splatoon released, so I have experience in the Splatoon style of shooting game. As a teacher, I have a Master's Degree in Secondary Education and have been teaching kids for more than a decade. On Outschool I have been running Super Smash Bros clubs for two years and have built a bit of a following due to my focus on fun and sportsmanship.
Any student may observe, but in order to participate, learners need a Nintendo Switch, a copy of Splatoon 3, an internet connection and a subscription to Nintendo online.
Splatoon 3 is rated E 10 for everyone over the age of 10. In order to play online, students will be able to see each other's gamer tags. As a general piece of advice, if gamer tags need to be exchanged, please do so only via private message, never during public messages or posts.
