Ready. Set. Turf. The long-awaited Splatoon 3 is here, and if your learner is looking for a safe and fun place to have the opportunity to battle other learners in the game, then this is the class for them! This will be a friendly environment for learners to be able to cooperate together in teams, learn how to improve in the game, enjoy trying out private battle modes with friends, and talk and discuss what they like about Splatoon. Each week, we will try to complete a series of challenges in the different modes available in Splatoon 3: Turf War Splat zones Rainmaker Tower Control Tableturf Battle At the beginning of each class, learners will have the opportunity to share what gear they have, what rank they are in ranked battles, what weapon they’ve been using, what their favorite mode is, and any Splatoon 3 news they’ve seen. Then, if learners choose to, they can join my private battle where they can socialize and battle! SCHEDULE ALL SECTIONS Week of January 19 - Worst Weapon Match Week of January 26 - Splatana Duels Week of February 2 - Beacon Breaker Week of February 9 - Least Splatted Wins Week of February 16 - Slosher Duels Week of February 23 - Burst Bomb DodgeBall Week of March 2 - Guess the character Fashion show Week of March 9 - Brella and Inkstorm Turf War Week of March 16 - Regular Duels Week of March 23 - Splatoon Quick Draw Week of March 30 - Hide and Seek Elimination Week of April 6 - Learner Choice Class will continue to progress after these dates, and there will be even more topics we will discuss and cover after these dates! Learners will also be encouraged to share during class: Splatoon 3 videos and ideas Splatoon 3 memes Funny Splatoon stories Any Splatoon art Any questions or help they need with the game Streamers they love to watch AND MORE! There is always room to extend past the realm of thinking usual to regular gameplay into other spheres of creativity, and my goal is to encourage learners to be comfortable to share their hobby and passions with the class. Parental Guidance
If your learner chooses to join the private battle, they will need:
A copy of Splatoon 3
A Nintendo online subscription
A Nintendo Switch
In addition, to be able to join the private battle, learners will need to add the teacher as a Nintendo Switch Friend by putting in the teacher's Friend Code into their switch under the Add Friend section of their profile. The teacher will then add the learner as a Switch Friend, and they will be able to join the private battle.

ABOUT MISS MAY...
As the leader of May's Gaming World, Miss May is an exceptional educator with a Bachelor's Degree in Creative Writing (2014), a Teaching Certificate (2015), and a Graduate Degree in Cross Cultural Communication and Education (2020). She taught 2nd Grade for three years before transitioning to online education in 2018, where she has been teaching for the past five years. Miss May is passionate about creating a safe and inclusive environment in all her classes, ensuring that learners feel comfortable, valued, and included in all settings. She has experience teaching learners of all ages, and is currently also working as Nanny for two wonderful toddlers.
Miss May is widely recognized by learners and boasts more than 300 reviews as the #1 top engaging teacher on Outschool. With over 2,000 completed classes through Ongoing Clubs, she has nurtured long-lasting relationships with many learners, some of whom have been with her for three years and counting. Miss May's extensive experience in the gaming world since 2000 has endowed her with a deep understanding of various games.
On a personal note, Miss May enjoys writing, reading, gaming, traveling, and learning about different cultures. She also takes delight in showcasing her Goldendoodle and two fuzzy bunnies. Miss May is eager to learn about the passions of others, including your learner's!
