Description
Class Experience
As a mother of a young gamer, I know the importance of helping our students connect with peers and it can be challenging for some, like my son, who struggles socially due to autism. Video game groups such as this one provide a safe place for young students to connect and develop lasting friendships with others who have a shared interest in video games. I play these games along side the students, which allows me to monitor their game play as well as facilitate discussions when conversations stand still. I offer a variety of social groups for gamers. If your student is a Splatoon 2 player, I encourage him/her to join in the battle.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
