I will be teaching students the basics of colors and shapes in Spanish. The topic I will cover will be the colors, shapes, and sentences using the verb To be a very easy structure that students will find easy to understand and read. The structure will be recognition of vocabulary, develop an understanding of the vocabulary and colors, practice Mix and matching colors and moving to shapes and do the same and we practice all that we have learned. I will teach using worksheets, PowerPoint, and interactive activities as I teach students. Students will have their own practice vocabulary sheets before they come to class so they understand what we are doing. My teaching style is very interactive, integrating technology and making all students equally be able to participate as the session progresses. Students will be able to interact expressing an opinion, saying colors, reading along, and creating an ambiance of friendship with other students. No experience is needed for this session. All the material such as vocabulary will be given beforehand so the student feels comfortable during the class session and have fun!
Learning Goals
As the learning objective, I want the students to be able to learn, process and remember the colors and shapes in Spanish. The class is created in a way that is very easy and fun for the students to understand and answer without feeling left out as participation will be equally distributed.
