US Grade 3 - 6
In this ongoing class, students will... - Have fun while improving spelling. - Learn techniques to study for spelling test. - Take weekly spelling test. - Do fun activities to help students study for spelling test each week. The teacher will provide 10 words to study weekly, based on grade level. Learners will also receive a spelling bundle that they will need to work on throughout the week and show the teacher when they return to class. Week 1 ----------- Icebreaker Introduction to...
Students will improve their study skills and gain confidence in their spelling abilities.
Students will be encouraged to study for at least 10 minutes on days that they don't attend class.
Student Supplies: paper pencil crayons, markers, or colored pencils
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Students will be encouraged to show me that they have practiced spelling outside of class. In return, those students will be rewarded with a coupon for one of my fun Roblox, drawing or social classes.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Miss Brandy will be using Google Docs using Zoom's share-screen option. Students will not be required to use Google Docs and no student information will be used on Google Docs. Miss Brandy will also be using YouTube from time to time to show clips of spelling techniques.
