Have you ever wondered why "CAT" is spelled with a 'C', but "KITTEN" is spelled with a "K"? In this engaging class, students will learn the C-CK-K spelling rule which they can rely on when spelling the /k/ sound. This is the second class in a series of stand-alone spelling classes which will explain some excellent spelling rules that can help students make sense of English words and become better spellers. This class will introduce the "C-CK-K" spelling rule and give several examples....
Students will improve their spelling when spelling words with the /k/ sound.
Students should have a whiteboard or notebook paper to display their work
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
