Class Experience
SPELLING Most children need to be taught to spell correctly. Therefore, spelling is the main focus for one lesson each week. The spelling activities are designed to introduce groups of words that use new spelling patterns, and revise the alternative vowel sound spellings. Before attempting this class, children should be familiar with the vowel digraphs (ai, we, or, oa, ou, ue, oi, ar, er). It is optional for students to purchase the Jolly phonics dictionary - this will aid them throughout this course
