Visual spelling clues and mnemonic devices will be introduced to help students distinguish between pairs of homophones in this fun, hands-on class! Great for visual & multi-sensory learners, those who need extra tools to make the spelling of words stick, English as a second language (ESL) learners, and dyslexic learners!

Description
Class Experience
Students will learn the spelling of 16 pairs of homophones. The work done in class can easily be used at home to reinforce what was learned.
Allison Woolley has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California at Davis. She has homeschooled her children for 11 years and has used the homonym spelling tips taught in this class successfully with her own children. Her experience also includes tutoring English Language Arts to 2nd – 6th graders and teaching faith formation classes to children in pre-K through 8th grade.
