Students will learn whether to use CH or TCH in spelling in a variety of ways including: a slide presentation, group discussion/practice using examples and independent work sent home. We will start the class with a quick introduction and then get right into it! We will learn about the CH or TCH spelling rule and work on understanding examples together. Learners will walk away with better understanding of when to use a CH or TCH at the end of a word.

Students will learn about the CH/TCH spelling rule. They will know when to spell a word with a CH and when to spell it with TCH.

Parental guidance is not necessary. It is helpful for parents to learn along so they can reinforce and practice new spelling rules at home!

I will provide PDFs of follow up work in the classroom space AFTER class. This work is meant to be fun and provide extra practice.
