Spelling Bee Club, First & Second Grade: See It, Say It, Read It, Write It With Nearpod!

** Dazzling Minds Academy always teaches to 1 student, if you DO NOT see students enrolled that means your child will be the only one in class. Our teachers do not mind, but I know sometimes students want to be with other students in the class. Please reach out if you have any questions**

Welcome to our First & Second Grade Spelling Bee class where learners will be guided each week through 5 different words. The lessons will be extremely interactive as they will be using Nearpod 

Nearpod is a very interactive platform where students get to write, draw, and play fun games to ensure students are learning in a fun way. Students will be given a link before class and during class for those students that weren’t able to login prior to class

This class will cover fundamental 1st Grade & 2nd Grade vocabulary words that they should know and together we will go through a fun lesson to ensure students know all the words

It is extremely recommended that students have a separate device such as a tablet or a phone 

The goal of this class is to ensure students are able to say, write, and be able to use in a sentence. Please see below for the words we will cover each week 

You can expect your child to be fully engaged with this class as they will practice their 1st Grade Spelling bee words by a variety of fun games and instruction 

Class Layout: Students will be fully engaged with the following activities
