Learners will have the opportunity to test their spelling abilities in a friendly competition. The words that will be chosen will be age appropriate, yet still challenging! One student will be asked to spell a word. If the word is spelled correctly, the next student will be asked to spell a different word. If a word is spelled incorrectly, the next student in line will have the opportunity to spell it correctly. The student with the most words spelled correctly, wins! Learners will feel comfortable in this friendly competition setting. No need to worry that anyone will be 'out' for spelling a word incorrectly :)
