This course will define and discuss gender identity, sexuality, and biological sex spectrums using cutting-edge science.

  • Students will understand the difference between gender, sexuality, and biological sex, and how each is a spectrum. The will be able to reference up to date science and be prepared to explore these topics at an intermediate level.

Frequency: included
Details: Short written reflection at conclusion. Optional.
ADHD & Dyslexia Friendly. I will provide close captioning and a recording. No more than 30% of the class will be lecture. We will change tasks frequently, and students can participate with or without camera. 
Notepad and writing implement or online notetaking app. Working microphone and keyboard.

We will discuss gender and sexuality at an age-appropriate level. We will view videos on YouTube. 
Several articles from Scientific American, to which I have a subscription.
