Class experience
US Grade 6 - 9
This class will look at the lives of various individuals who participated in espionage during World War II. We will cover men and women from both sides of the conflict and what they accomplished for their respective countries. We will also look at several of the different gadgets that were used by spies during World War II, as well as do a short activity on Morse Code communication. Students will gain a better appreciation for the role of spies during the second World War.
I have a Bachelor of Arts in history, and work as a professional Archivist in a local military museum. Our main artifact is a 312 food Gato-Class submarine from World War II. I work closely with our curator to help create new temporary exhibits for our institution, and have a passion for highlighting the work completed by the unsung heroes of this conflict.
Please have a paper and pencil ready for one short activity during this course.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
