Class Experience
Calling all learners! Watch out! There are spiders about! Eight legs, hairy bodies and lots of eyes coming our way.  Come with me as we explore the world of a spider and visit some different countries along the way! We will have the chance to watch a spider in its natural habitat. How do we spot a dangerous one?  Does the spider have an unfair reputation? Let’s find out!

I am an experienced classroom primary / elementary school teacher and head of year. I have taught in London, North Africa and the Middle East and am now based in the U.S.  With many years of teaching under my belt, I am passionate about  helping children progress in their academic journey and making learning accessible, exciting and interesting. I pride myself on ensuring that the materials are educational and engaging and that children leave the lesson knowing more than they started. Progressing and moving forward with confidence. I have also completed many training courses to help children become better writers, readers, speakers and mathematicians. I am looking forward to you joining me!

There will be some homework that children can answer comprehension questions about spiders and different activities posted before and after class that children are free to participate in and earn a digital sticker!

Learners will need to be able to use the Zoom annotation and text tool confidently. 
For homework or pre-class work (optional) children can use art supplies or create a video depending if they pick an activity.

I will be feeding back to parents / guardians.

25 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
