In this Ongoing Science Club we will take an adventure into all things Science. The sky is the limit. Our schedule will have this format: Week One: Nasty Natural Disasters (Tsunamis, Earthquakes, Avalanches, Volcanic Eruptions and Hurricanes); Week Two: Notorious Nasty Natural Disasters: Lightning, Flooding, Wildfires, Sandstorms and Blizzards.); Week Three: Nerve-Racking Natural Disasters (Waterspouts, Volcanic Lightning, Fire Tornados, Sinkholes and Mudslides; Week Four: Drastically...
The students will learn multiple facts in each class and, above all, a desire to continue to be a life long learner.
I have taught elementary Science classes for over 22 years and have a love for all things science and this precious age group.
Worksheets, coloring pencil and a pen/pencil - all optional. Worksheets will be linked in the classroom tab each day of class or the day before.
Informal assessment as we discuss the topics in class.
