Specific and Structured Small Group Paragraph Writing: (Grades 3-5)
Using the Hamburger Strategy (topic, supporting details, closing), students will write well-constructed opinion and informative paragraphs in this 3-day class. Students will also learn about transitions and practice revising techniques.

This class is designed for students in grades 3-5 to give them specific strategies and structured paragraph writing support. Do note that at this level, students are not citing evidence yet. Instead, the focus is focusing on a specific format of writing (hamburger method) that includes a topic sentence, supporting details, and a conclusion sentence.
