My goal is to create a meaningful, comfortable, social learning environment where students discuss interesting topics and connect with each other. This is a discussion-based class that helps students build speaking and listening skills. Students will compare and contrast players and teams, analyze statistics, and discuss the current happenings in the sports world. Students will build communication skills while having fun and making friends! Here are some examples of discussion topics: Which sport is your favorite? Do you play any sports? Which athlete do you like to watch? Class topics will be largely learner-led. Students will have plenty of opportunities to share their input and listen to others.
