You will learn practical information about traveling in the USA, how to order food at a restaurant, how to find the bus or subway, how to buy souvenirs or clothing plus other important topics. Pronunciation will be corrected in the most positive and encouraging way possible. Week of September 13: Introduce yourself to new friends Week of September 20: Ordering food at Western Restaurants Week of September 27 Traveling to other cities- hotel check-ins, busses, trains, subway travel. Week of October 4: Shopping for food, souvenirs, and clothes Week of October 11: Internet vocabulary- phrases for gamers, social media etc. Students/parents can request further topics for discussion. Learning Goals
Student will learn how to to speak American English while having fun. I will make sure to correct pronunciation errors in the most encouraging way. I will teach common American phrases and give practical advice to all students. My goal is for everyone to speak in every class.
