This 1:1, private debate class will be structured according to the student's knowledge and their experience with debate. This can range from tournament preparation to learning the foundations of beginning debate to advanced debate. Areas of focus include but are not limited to argumentation, public speaking, researching evidence, and debate format. I am an upbeat, energetic teacher who utilizes many strategies to help your learner feel comfortable. Any public speaking situation can be difficult and scary. Practice and knowledge are a great way to reduce public speaking fears. Please be sure to communicate with me prior to our class so that I understand the needs of the student and can plan accordingly.
