We will discuss glossophobia, look at tricks to deal with speech anxiety, talk about eye contact, body language and SPEAK! Bring your fears, anxieties and an eagerness to get rid of them. Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello! I'm Shaheen and I look forward to meeting you all virtually. I've been teaching language arts and the humanities for over 25 years in public, private and charter schools to elementary, middle and high school students. I also homeschool my own four children, and I am an education consultant for other homeschooling families. My expertise is in teaching the humanities and literature classes for middle and high school aged kids. I offer classes in the Socratic Seminar style for kids as young as 4th graders. Holding an M.S. in Education and a certification in teaching ESL, I am happy to bring the love of learning to your kids.
My goals, with teaching students, are to make them life long learners and passionate about education. I enjoy teaching poetry, literature, logic and the classics and I hope to pass this love of language on to my students!
