In this Public Speaking camp, learners will develop Public Speaking skills through FUN interactive activities. Learners will develop their understanding of Public Speaking through speaking games and activities. They will learn about the importance of body language and voice. They will learn about social skills and how body language is interpreted in different scenarios. This class would be a great fit for learners that enjoy drama, quizzes and interacting with other learners. This class is suitable for learners that want to develop their knowledge and ability in Public Speaking. **Learners will be required to participate in vocal exercises and movement therefore eating during class activities is not advised due to a potential choke hazard.** *** Due to the nature of this class cameras will be required to stay on*** Day 1 - In this class, learners will develop vocal tone and learn about the importance of articulation projection and tone. During this class, learners will explore different emotions which will be put into action through reading aloud exercises. Day 2 -In this class, we will focus on speaking and listening exercises. The lesson will be animal-themed. We will also explore body language through mime with games such as charades. Learners will be introduced to impromptu speaking skills through play. Day 3 - Our focus for today will be honing in on news reporters. We will explore Public Speaking from a reporters perspective and an eye witness perspective. We will analyse, how Superman saved the planet from potential ruin. Learners will read a news report and practice their speaking, listening and probing skills through hot- seating and improvisation. Day 4 - In this class, we will explore sound and listening. Learners will discuss the five senses and focus on listening skills. The learners will write a story which they will present to the rest of the class with the skills they have learned from the 4- day course.

Parental Guidance
Please ensure that there is no obstacles in the way for your learners. We will be doing some warm-ups vocally and physically. Eating is not promoted during class because of the speaking exercises.

I have a degree from the Central School of Speech and Drama. I have a Postgraduate degree in English Education and I am a qualified teacher. I have experience of teaching speech in England and Singapore. I have spoken at many public events and worked professionally as an actress on television and stage in the UK.
