Class Experience
In this two day, introductory course to public speaking students will learn about the power of speech. They will learn why people engage in public speaking and what makes a good speech. They will be given practical exercises to help with their own public speaking. They will have the opportunity to speak a lot during class. Due to the nature of the class cameras need to be on. Students will improve their understanding of non-verbal communication and its importance in public speaking. They will also have a deeper understanding of how to appear more confident when speaking.
I have a degree in Speech and Drama where I qualified in London. In addition I have a postgraduate degree in English and Education.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour 50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
