Each meeting will have one or more of the following: -Learn the vocabulary needed for the week -Practice using the vocabulary in sentences by asking and answering questions with teacher support -Show and tell: show off skills learned by conversing with other students and/or teacher with minimal teacher support. Students may also bring an appropriate item/drawing that corresponds with what we're learning that week. -There will also be opportunities to begin learning to read in Spanish Meeting 3x a week will allow students the repetition and practice needed to remember the Spanish vocabulary and use it in everyday conversations with other Spanish speakers. This late beginner/early intermediate ongoing course will focus on a new topic every week. Each topic will stand alone so that students will not need to have completed the class the week before in order to participate in the conversation.
