Intermediate Level
This ongoing class is for Intermediate students. Intermediate level -Speaks some Russian, can discuss different subjects in the Russian language. In every class, each student will have an opportunity to share and contribute. Students must be comfortable reading in Russian prior to this class. Learners will learn new words in every class! We start each class with a discussion of a theme where students contribute to the conversation. We use slides, texts, and texbooks during the class. We play a Trivia game related to the theme. From the experience - This class is fun and time goes fast. Week 1- Get to know the students. Games and conversations. Week 2- Travel+ Shopping Week 3- Seasons+ Holidays Week 4- Hobbies. Read about different hobbies and tell us about your hobby. Week 6- Animals and Pets +Trivia Game Week 7- Russian Food+ Restaurant Orders

My name is Iryna. I have been working with the children for more than 16 years. My native language is Russian and Ukrainian. My passion for teaching expanded to teaching the Russian language from zero to discussing literature. My primary focus in teaching the Russian language is to expose students to the Russian language and teach them the fundamentals of the language in a fast and exciting way.
Also, I am a certified Kids Yoga Instructor with quite some years of teaching at daycares, schools, after-school programs, and Sunday schools. I give my classes the extra twist to make yoga more fun for the kids! My yoga classes combine storytelling, music, imagination, and movement allowing even the youngest of yogis to blossom and grow.
