Creativity and Imagination are muscles the same as any other muscle in your body. All muscles need exercise in order to function. This class will help the student flex those muscles as well as practice getting into a daily writing habit. Using writing prompts is a great way to spark your creativity and you may even end up with something you can use to write an entire story. At the very least, it's a great way to get into the habit of writing every day, even if it's just a few minutes a day. In this class, we will use writing prompts to free-write for ten minutes, then discuss what we have written. Each week, we will feature one of the ten different genres listed below in addition to using mix-and-match writing prompts that will be more learner-directed from The Amazing Story Generator.
