We will focus on identifying extra letters in the alphabet and identifying the similarities and differences between the English and Spanish alphabets. Students will learn the alphabet in Spanish. Students will learn the correct pronunciation of vowels in Spanish. Students will be able to correctly read simple words in Spanish
The teacher is a native Spanish speaker from Puerto Rico and has a Masters's degree in Second Language Education.
Students will be provided flashcards to practice at home. It is not required, but highly encouraged that they practice after class.
1 hour per week in class, and no time outside of class.
