A 5-week part 2 Beginner Spanish class focusing on vocabulary and grammar. Class themes are: shapes, planets, food, clothes and animals. #achiever
Class experience
Is your learner just starting out on their Spanish learning journey? No prior knowledge of the language is needed. Every class is 60 minutes long. -First 30 minutes of class: We will learn and review the new vocabulary/grammar. -Second 30 minutes of class: We will work play review games and do challenges to see if your learner has caught on to the new concepts. -This class will incorporate slides and games to help fully understand the concepts. We will: -we will focus on how to say and spell each of the words phonetically. - use visual aids to help us recognize the new vocabulary - review the material using memory games
I have a BA degree in Spanish from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. I have lived in Mexico while attending an exchange program while in college. I taught Spanish to Preschool, Elementary, Middle and Highschool students for over 12 years.
Homework Offered
Grammar exercises and vocabulary words will be given.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
Assessments will be given informally while we are in the class. I will be looking at the learners interaction in class. I will also have a written letter grade for each student that will be given at the completion of the course.Grades Offered
