Class Experience

Are you looking for an exciting and engaging way for your child to learn Spanish? We are thrilled to introduce our Spanish Travel Adventure class at the Beginner level—the perfect opportunity for young learners to immerse themselves in the rich cultures and languages of Spanish-speaking countries!

In this ongoing class, your child will "travel" to 21 Spanish-speaking countries around the globe, immersing themselves in both language and culture. Each country will be explored throughout four interactive classes, giving students ample time to learn new words and phrases each week. This immersive approach ensures that your child will build strong language skills while discovering each country's unique traditions, foods, and landmarks.

Here’s why this class is perfect for your child:

-Engaging Travel Experience: Your child will virtually visit countries like Spain, Mexico, Argentina, and beyond – all while learning useful Spanish vocabulary.

-Slow and Steady Progress: With four weeks dedicated to each country, your child will have enough time to absorb new words and phrases, enhancing retention and confidence.

-Cultural Exploration: Language learning becomes even more exciting when tied to real-world places and cultures. Your child will learn how people live, what they eat, and what makes each country unique!

-Fun and Interactive: This class is designed to be fun, engaging, and perfect for beginners. It fosters a love for language and learning while creating memories of an exciting "global journey."

Every four weeks, we will travel to a new location where we learn about the country's geographic features, capital city, the meanings of its colors and symbols, cuisine, animals, landmarks, and natural resources. Students are encouraged to ask questions throughout the lesson.

In our fourth week, we will review all the materials learned about the specific country, allowing students to showcase their new knowledge and demonstrate their understanding.

Students will also be strongly encouraged to say what their favorite part about learning about the specific country is or share something they thought was interesting, different, or liked. I will help students translate their sentences into Spanish and share them with the class.

Give your child the gift of language and culture through our Spanish Travel Adventure. Spaces are limited, so don’t miss out on this opportunity to spark your child’s interest in learning Spanish!

We can’t wait for your child to join us on this fun, educational journey around the Spanish-speaking world.

and currently live in Arizona. I also lived in Costa Rica and Panama while volunteering as a music teacher to unprivileged communities for three amazing years.

I am an educator with ten years of experience teaching Spanish, Music, and ESL. I hold a bachelor's degree in Music (emphasis on piano and voice) and a Master's degree in Education.
I am also TESOL certified.

I have experience teaching my two passions: Spanish and Music.
I taught Spanish as a second language for two years to elementary and High School students on daily basics. (2016-2018)
Then, I tasted the classroom setting of a Charter School, teaching Band and Piano group lessons for two years (2018-2020)
For the last five years, since I did a lot of traveling between Costa Rica and Panama, I have been teaching online with Magic Ears, VIPKID, and Intervene (TutorGigs K-12 Tutoring services) while teaching piano during the evenings at my Music Studio at home.

My teaching philosophy is learning in a safe, joyful environment.
I am an energetic and passionate teacher that enjoys seeing my students learn, have fun, and grow. My Spanish classes are fully immersive, interactive, and filled with smiles, lots of visual aids, games, music, and props.

I follow the TPRS Method (Teaching Proficiency through Reading and Storytelling). These lessons include learning new vocabulary each lesson, short readings through storytelling, games, and repetition.

I love teaching my native language, Spanish, sharing my experiences living in different Spanish-speaking countries (Mexico, Costa Rica, Nicaragua and Panama), and sharing the gift of Music with others!

I can't wait to meet you in class!
