Description
Class Experience
Students will have a general understanding of how to pronounce words in Spanish. They will build their vocabulary and be able to apply it as they continue to learn Spanish.
Hello! My name is Brandi Guzman. I have a BA in Spanish with P-12 teacher certification. I have been teaching Spanish for 12 years. I have taught ages 7 up to high school. I enjoy teaching students of all ages. I have also traveled extensively. This has given me an interesting perspective on what it means to know a second language. I am not a native Spanish speaker. I had to learn, and continue to practice to become proficient in Spanish. I understand the challenges that come with learning a second language. My goal is to inspire students to learn about different cultures, travel, and put into practice what they are learning.
There is no homework assigned during this summer camp.
Construction paper or white paper Colored pencils, markers, or crayons
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
The teacher will informally assess students throughout the camp and correct as necessary.
30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
