Welcome to my Spanish Summer Camp!!!! Whether you're a complete novice or have some basic knowledge, this camp is designed to make learning Spanish fun, interactive, and engaging. This Summer Camp will offer: - Interactive Lessons: Join to a experienced Spanish teacher for interactive lessons tailored specifically for beginners. From basic vocabulary and grammar to useful phrases for everyday conversations, your child will build a solid foundation in Spanish language skills. - Fun Activities: Put your Spanish skills to the test with exciting games, role-plays, and group activities, there's something for everyone to enjoy while practicing Spanish in a relaxed and supportive environment. - Practice speaking Spanish with fellow campers in small group discussions and one-on-one conversations. Gain confidence as you engage in real-life scenarios and improve your pronunciation and fluency with guidance from the teacher. The topics that will be taught in this Summer Camp: 1) WEEK #1: - Greetings and Introductions: Learn how to greet others and introduce yourself in Spanish. Practice common phrases for meeting new people, such as "Hola, ¿cómo estás?" (Hello, how are you?) and "Me llamo..." (My name is...). "Yo soy de....." (I am from...) and important words or phrases that we use everyday in a conversation. - Colors: Learn the colors in Spanish. Practice common phrases such as: "Me gusta" (I like), "No me gusta" (I don't like), "Mi color favorito es...." (My favorite color is.......) 2) WEEK #2: -Numbers: Learn and practice the numbers from 0 to 100 in Spanish, in this week the student will practice how to say the numbers and identify each one in Spanish. Practice a common phrase to say the age "Yo tengo____ años" (I am ______ years old), "Mi número favorito es..." (My favorite number is.....). - Shapes: Introduce basic shapes like "círculo" (circle) and "triángulo" (triangle). Practice vocabulary related with the shapes. 3) WEEK #3: -Animals: In this topic, kids will learn the names of common animals in Spanish, such as "perro" (dog), "gato" (cat), "pájaro" (bird), "elefante" (elephant). and more They will explore the sounds animals make and learn fun facts about each animal. -Characteristics: In this week they will also learn descriptive words to talk about animals, such as "pequeño" (small), "grande" (big), "rápido" (fast), and "lento" (slow). They will practice describing animals' colors, sizes, and behaviors in Spanish. 4) WEEK #4: - Fruits: Kids will discover a variety of fruits in Spanish, including "manzana" (apple), "plátano" (banana), "uva" (grape), "naranja" (orange) , and more. They will learn to identify fruits by their names and colors. Practice common phrases like: "Yo como _____" (I eat _____) Food: The students will explore basic food vocabulary, such as "pan" (bread), "leche" (milk), "queso" (cheese), "pollo" (chicken) and more. Practice common phrases like: "Me gusta comer_____" (I like to eat_____) This is class for only 4 weeks twice per week, the duration of every class will be for 25 minutes!! Students will join to Zoom invitation and there will receive an interactive class and activities to practice with other students. This is a nice class where students are allow to participate but it is okay to do not do it, if that is the case please let the teacher knows about that. The teaching style is to be welcoming and inviting, creating an environment where every participant feels comfortable and excited to learn. I believe in fostering a sense of warmth and inclusivity, making sure that all students feel valued and supported throughout their learning journey. I use a variety of interactive and engaging teaching methods, such as games, role-plays, and multimedia resources, to keep lessons fun and dynamic. I also prioritize building positive relationships among students, encouraging collaboration and peer support. Whether you're a complete beginner or have some prior knowledge of the language, our course is a place where you can feel at ease while expanding your skills and connecting with others who share your enthusiasm for learning.
Learning Goals
At the end of the Summer Camp students will be able to accomplish the following goals:
1) Engage in basic conversations using greetings, colors, numbers, and food vocabulary.
2)Students will expand their vocabulary by learning the names of animals and their characteristics in Spanish, food, shapes and numbers.
3) Students will gain confidence in their language skills through interactive learning activities and positive reinforcement.

In this first lesson students will learn some common phrases about greetings and important words that we use everyday like: thank you, sorry, please and others.
