Students will come together to talk for 40 minutes in Spanish. Spanish will not be taught, but corrected as we go. I'll help students get new vocabulary through immersion practices of showing pictures, using movement and context clues. Students must be able to interact fully in Spanish the whole time. This is not a course for those who are still learning the basics and can't understand normally paced conversation. We will range our topics, here is what we will address each week: Jan 4- 10: Hobbies and Activities-What do you do in your free time. Jan 11-17: Family and Friends-Who is in your life, near and far? Jan 18-24: Winter Holiday Traditions-What does your family do? Jan 25- 31: Travel- Where would you like to travel and why? Feb 1-7: Food- What do you like to eat? Feb 8-14: TV- What’s your favorite show and why? Feb15-21:Career- What jobs are of interest to you?
