Class Experience
-This class is designed for bilingual students. It is an opportunity for them to practice their Spanish reading skills, perfect their pronunciation, check their reading comprehension and acquire new vocabulary as well as interact with other bilingual learners. -Topics to be discussed will pertain to the story but we will focus on correct sentence structure when speaking and proper pronunciation while both reading and speaking. -Maestra Zia will engage the students in a group discussion...

Zia is a native Spanish speaker and has taught with the Department of Education in Puerto Rico where she also obtained her teaching degree. She also enjoys providing simultaneous interpretation services in her community.
