Beginner Level
This 1:1 Spanish language class is for children ages 7 to 8 (is flexible) year 3 to learn Spanish using a professional curriculum. This class builds vocabulary, grammar, writing & listening skills without the need to have any previous knowledge. Children will learn Spanish by playing games and taking part in activities. Classes will be interactive and fun to capture students' interest in learning Spanish and keep them motivated throughout the lessons. I provide personalised help and guidance with the aim that each learner present will not only have the ability to learn the target vocabulary but also have the ability to reproduce a variety of short sentences in Spanish. With the utilization of pictures, props, free- talk and activities/games these will all facilitate your child having fun while at the same time learning a foreign language. The lessons will cover 6 units which have 6 lessons each in total 36 lessons. (The lessons with either be simplified or extended depending on the needs of the students). It is learner-orientated; if the lessons need to be split up into 2 or more, this can all be done. The 6 units covered in Year 3 are: 1. Meet and Greet 2. My Body 3. Time to Eat 4. The People Around Me 5. All About School 6. Tell Me When My classes are student-centred, so you can look forward to lots of class participation and opportunities to speak Spanish during class. I like for students to often repeat vocabulary out loud, so they can get comfortable with pronunciation in Spanish. I also take the time to break down individual syllables and sounds of the Spanish words, so students can apply these phonetics to new words as they continue to learn Spanish. This way, they will begin to confidently and correctly pronounce Spanish words. Why learn Spanish? Spanish is the world's second biggest language This makes Spanish the second most spoken language in the world and the world's second mother tongue. Not only is Spanish spoken by a huge proportion of the population, but Spanish speakers can also be found all around the world. Studies have shown that learning a second language can improve cognitive function, memory, and creativity. Plus, it can boost your self-confidence and give you a sense of accomplishment. Learning Spanish can also be a fun and rewarding hobby, allowing you to meet new people, explore new cultures, and learn new things. Thank you for considering my lessons, feel free to contact me with any questions. Thank you for reading!

All students will be muted when needed, to minimize background noise. Please ensure to spend some time with your learner, teaching them the mute and unmute features as I am unable to unmute them. Or I ask that you sit with your learner in order to provide that support. I want to make sure every learner gets a chance to speak and ask questions when it is their turn.
