¡Hola! I'm Fátima, a passionate and experienced Spanish as a Second Language teacher from México with over 6 years of experience working with children, teens, and adults. I hold an ELE (Español como Lengua Extranjera) teaching certificate from International House, along with several other certifications that help me keep my classes engaging, interactive, and fun. These include an Online Teaching Certificate, a specialized 15-hour course on teaching Spanish to kids and teens online, and I’m currently completing a 150-hour certification focused on Spanish as a Second Language for young learners.

In my classes, I prioritize creating a fun and memorable learning experience that resonates with my students. I believe that when learning is enjoyable, it becomes more meaningful and effective. I encourage participation from everyone, but I’m also mindful of students who may be shy, helping them build confidence at their own pace. While I strive to use Spanish as much as possible during lessons, I understand that younger students can sometimes feel frustrated if they don’t understand. In these moments, I use English as a supportive tool to ensure they feel comfortable and confident.

A little about me: I’m a pet lover with a senior poodle and an adorable baby corgi, both of whom bring joy to my life. I’m also passionate about plants and yoga, which help me stay balanced and energized.
