Spanish Made Simple is an introductory course for any student who has ever wanted to learn another language. Students learn keywords over several classes, categorized by themes like colors, family and food, and more. By way of extension, we will learn different sentence patterns and work on proper enunciation and listening. No prior knowledge of Spanish is necessary. While we learn new topics weekly, we will go at a measured and calm pace. Students should feel welcomed to speak without fear...
Students will learn the fundamentals of Spanish grammar, writing and pronunciation. This course will cover introductory topics that will help students begin their exploration into Spanish.
To succeed in class, students are encouraged to have a pencil or pen, a highlighter, and notebook or journal.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
At the start of every week, a one page OPTIONAL assignment will be provided for learners to practice. Students may sometimes be expected to participate when there is a video assignment posted online. Video assignments usually require a learner to (1) respond to a question, (2) read in Spanish or (3) share their learned vocabulary and phrases.
