Welcome to Spanish for Beginners: Fun with Language! This exciting 4-week course is designed for children ages 8-11 who are eager to start learning Spanish in a fun and interactive way. Through engaging lessons, games, songs, and hands-on activities, students will build a solid foundation in Spanish by learning basic vocabulary, everyday phrases, and essential verbs. Throughout the course, children will explore topics like greetings, numbers, colors, food, animals, and how to talk about themselves. They'll learn how to count in Spanish from 1 to 100, express likes and dislikes using verbs like gustar and comer, and describe their favorite animals and foods in full sentences. The course also emphasizes conversational skills, helping kids practice asking and answering questions, introducing themselves, and talking about what they enjoy. Each class is designed to be interactive, combining both verbal and visual learning techniques to keep students engaged. By the end of the course, students will be able to confidently use Spanish in simple conversations, share their preferences, and describe the world around them—all while having fun and building a love for the language! Conversational Focus: Emphasize speaking and listening to prepare you for everyday interactions. Spanish immersion program The classes include: 📍Creative and interactive Visual slides. 📍Games 📍Activities during class and after class - Weekly material will be share on the classroom page the students can print it and bring it to class. if is not possible for you to print the material that tine however I recommend the students to bring a notebook.
Learning Goals
Students will learn the bases to start speaking Spanish and important vocabulary and they will learn how to talk about themselves and others using the language we will cover during this course.
