This class is taught in Spanish.
Spanish learners will improve their Spanish vocabulary, pronunciation, speaking, listening, and conversation skills.
**MARISA GHIRLANDI** Marisa is an enthusiastic and passionate language teacher with over 4 years experience teaching children, teenagers and adults. She holds a MA in Modern Languages and Literatures and a BA in European Languages and Literatures. She is currently based in Canterbury, England, where she teaches Italian at the University of Kent and does research about mobile assisted language learning. Marisa is fluent in Italian, English, Spanish, and German. She grew up in Italy and realized her passion for languages and travels at a young age. In the past 6 years she has lived in Italy, Spain, Chile, Germany, and England. Being used to engaging with different cultures, Marisa is empathetic, patient and equipped to understand mistakes. Marisa loves teaching and makes learning fun! ———————————————————— **KIMBERLY KNAPP** Kimberly is a fun, energetic Spanish teacher from Calgary, Canada who now calls Oaxaca, Mexico "home." She has over 10 years of experience teaching languages to students of all ages, from around the world. Kimberly holds a B.A. in French & Spanish, a minor in Linguistics, a B.A. in Pedagogy, and a TESOL certification. She is a very patient teacher who loves creating exciting activities that encourage student interaction, communication, and expression. Kimberly loves connecting with her students, learning about their cultures, and sharing her own rich cultural background. ————————————————— **MONICA FERNANDEZ** Monica is a certified Spanish language teacher who lives in Florida, and is originally from Spain. She has a true passion for teaching Spanish language and culture and has over 15 years of experience teaching students of all ages, as well as 11 years dedicated to working as a bilingual preschool teacher. Monica has a bachelor's degree from Universidad de Oviedo and holds early childhood education and director credentials as well. In her free time, Monica loves spending time with her family, watching her sons play competitive soccer, and learning about other countries and cultures. —————————————————— **BRENDA MELENDEZ** Brenda is an enthusiastic, licensed teacher from Maryland who is bilingual in English and Spanish. She has had more than 20 years of experience teaching language arts, math, social studies, science, ESL, and Spanish to K-12 students in-person and online. Brenda holds a B.A. in Foreign Service and an M.Ed. in Secondary Education - both from George Washington University. She brings great energy into her classroom and enjoys incorporating interactive, creative activities into her lessons to maximize student engagement. Her ultimate goal is to create a sensory rich, welcoming environment that motivates her students to grow.
